Butterfly silk: Weaving a tale of transformation

Imagine tiny golden threads… No… not even that large. Imagine golden, light-filled strands, tiny filaments of silk. A breath and, afflutter, they swoosh and swirl away. Less solid than a curl of incense rising from the offering. […]

Finding your purpose: Let the joy guide you

Why are you here? What are you supposed to do with your life? What is your purpose? These are giants, as far as questions go. The answers are not simple and not always clear. Perhaps it is not known until the end, looking back, when everything becomes understood. What has made all the difference to [...]

What does it take to be a Yogi?

There I am. At the top of my mat. Again. Wobbling. Balancing. Losing balance. Resting. Trying again. Union is yoga, I keep reminding myself. In a recent class, I got a whole new perspective on what yoga can do. It felt like I was inside the test tube looking out. I was in the practice [...]

Dream a little dream for me

It can be so easy to hold someone else's dream in your mind. I can easily see each and every one of you as wildly happy, healthy, joyful, and abundant. It is so easy.  It is likely why crowdfunding and microlending sites are so fun. We get to share in someone else's dream and be [...]
